Now coming to my blog post, First I would like to wish Altenew a very happy 9th Birthday. I remember the days when they 1st came into the craft industry with their layering stamps and I also remember the days when they introduced their Vintage rose and Antique rose layering stamps with My sweet Petunia stamping tool MISTI and that was the beginning of Altenew journey and never looking back for them , Well done to the Tasnim and Nabil's Team.

Today I have been given an opportunity to write something about my recent creation for Altenew's 9th Birthday.

Materials Used:

  • Teal cardstock
  • Neenah Solar white Cardstock
  • Altenew Obsidian Ink
  • Altenew Golden Sunset Ink pads
  • Altenew Label Love add on stamps
  • Altenew Buttercup Swamp stamps
  • Altenew Buttercup Swamp Dies
  • Altenew Buttercup Swamp stencils
  • Altenew Rattan Strip Dies
  • Altenew Meadows green Ink pads
  • Altenew Foam tape
Steps:
  • Die Teal cardstock using the rattan strips and do not throw away the cut outs and use them to weave your mat for background.
  • Stick this back ground on the 110 lbs Neenah solar white for your background. I have also used the thin strips of left over to create the frame around the background as well.
  • On a separate cardstock using the Golden sunset , Meadows grass ink pad and stencil for Buttercup Swamp colour your flower and leaves.
  • Die cut the flower and leaves and adhere them from the left hand top corner with the Altenew foam tape.
  • Stamp the sentiments with Altenew Obsidian ink pad and adhere that to the bottom left hand side.
I had so much fun creating this card for Altenew and love Altenew products.
